About the Artist :

Cicly Michelle Martin

Born and raised in Illinois, Cicly Martin is no stranger to unifying her spiritual journey with her passion for Creativity and Purpose: as a liturgical dancer and member of Rehoboth International Ministries, Cicly allowed God to make room for her by embracing her uniqueness and talent. She began to stretch herself and live out loud through her Artwork, recreating the images that the Holy Spirit displayed before her spiritual eye. While working with mediums such as acrylics, oils. Watercolor, charcoal, fabrics and pencils, Cicly developed her raw self-taught talent to open a portal to the heart of God. She has invited others into the experiences by interpreting the symbolic strokes of color into words of life and all the while, challenging the inequitable struggles black freeman have faced through generations. “my art comes from a deep spiritual place and I just try to re-create what the Holy Spirit shows me.” (Cicly Martin)
